Britney Spears' first husband Jason Alexander claims the pop superstar has had cosmetic surgery on her stomach following the birth of her second child in September.
Alexander and Spears were childhood friends from Louisiana and tied the knot in Las Vegas in 2004, only to have the marriage annulled 55 hours later.
And Alexander believes that Spears is determined to get herself into shape following her recent separation from second husband Kevin Federline, with whom she has two children.
He says, "Britney has to be seen to get out there now and be seen to be looking good and so on. She's doing all that. She's been locked down for two years.
"She had a tummy tuck after the birth of her second child. She's working on all of that. She's worth hundreds of millions -- of course she looks good.
"She has the money to have surgery and nutritionists and get her body back. And now she's focused, she is doing it. She's motivated -- she just got rid of a man."
Perez Hilton is to be hit by a multi-million dollar federal lawsuit from the top seven paparazzi agencies in the US.
Splash News, INF, Ramey, Bauer Griffin, WENN, Most Wanted and Flynet have joined forces to stop Perezhilton.com from using copyrighted images.
From the Splash News website:
"Perez claims he is making a fortune off exploiting pictures taken by photographers. He blatantly violates copyright and makes advertising revenue off other people's works," said Gary Morgan of Splash News.
"It is time he is held accountable for his actions. We have amassed a ton of evidence from all of these agencies detailing his infringements.
We have filed a letter to him giving him the chance to either pay up for all of his copyright violations or face the music. He only has a few days to decide."
The seven agencies have spent the last few weeks conferring over how to stop Hilton. In an unprecedented co-operation between paparazzi and showbusiness agencies, the heads of the agencies agreed to take action.
A letter was sent demanding full payment of all infringed material or face a lawsuit next week.
OFFICIAL STATEMENT from kathygriffin.net:
As you may have heard through media outlet reports, there was a major plane incident concerning Kathy Wed evening. All of us, and Kathy directly, want you to first and foremost know that Kathy and all aboard are safe. The plane did not crash.
Kathy rented a commuter plane that took off at 4:45pm in Burbank, CA. Kathy and Tom (her tour manager) were the only two passengers on the plane. 20 minutes into the flight they hit extreme turbulence. Things were flying all over in the plane.
The pilots smelled smoke and then Kathy did as well. Shortly the cabin itself was filled with smoke. She noticed the pilot had to put on his oxygen mask and then the other masks dropped for the passengers. The plane made an emergency return to Burbank. The two pilots were extremely professional and calm during the events.
There were fire trucks waiting on the runway for her plane to land. Luckily, they landed and were pulled out of the plane quickly and safely. No other plane was available earlier than 9:30 and thus Wed's show had to be cancelled.
Kathy wants you to personally know that ALL of her shows, including Thursday's show in Hanford, are STILL ON AS SCHEDULED. She hopes to reschedule the Stockton show. Again, Kathy apologizes for the inconvenience.
We want to thank you for all your thoughts and prayers during these events. Kathy once again (to make 100% clear) is safe and sound as are all staff members.

"I'm very concerned with the press on mine and Bob's divorce. I know I have people who want to defend me or people who want to defend Bob, but my children can read - and I'd like to resolve this amicably - not fueling fires - and with dignity. Kids don't know the difference between fact and tabloid …does anybody? Truth is Bob is great in many ways - we just don't belong together...we mutually agree. I love my children, he loves his son...we both have wonderful family and friends as support going thru this time. "
It's that time of year again, when it starts to get a little bit colder and you can spot a select few of Hollywood's trashiest celebrities strutting around with dead animals strapped to their backs.
PETA's Official 2006 'Worst Dressed' List:
Nicole Richie: This pelt-wearing party girl is all animal skin and bones. She’s an incredible shrinking woman with the heart to match.
Ashley Olsen: Wearing fur does add 20 pounds, but if Ashley wants to fill out her frame, we suggest using a fork instead.
Christina Ricci: Disregarding the holiday season’s “Peace on Earth” message, Ricci recently posed for a magazine cover wearing fur from slaughtered reindeer. At least she’s not into fur hats: Imagine how many more pelts it would take to cover that forehead.
Eva Longoria: You’d think she’d be more sympathetic to the plight of rabbits considering the way she screws around like one on Wisteria Lane.
You can vote for the number-one worst-dressed celebrity here.
Notable absences from the list are Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, both of whom have made some attempts to ditch the fur from their wardrobes this year—so here's hoping they remember their resolution.
Snoop Dogg was arrested Tuesday night for allegedly possessing drugs and a firearm.
Detectives from the Burbank Police Department served a search warrant on Snoop, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, outside NBC studios in Burbank at approximately 7:30 p.m. this evening. Police say they found the rapper in possession of cocaine, a firearm and a large amount of marijuana. He was also cited for allegedly having a false compartment in his vehicle.
The rapper had just performed on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and was leaving the studio when police pulled his car over on Bob Hope Drive and placed him under arrest. Bail has been set at $60,000, and TMZ is told that the lawyer for the rap star expects him to be released sometime this evening.
During the performance, Snoop clutched a microphone with a large marijuana leaf symbol displayed across his hand.
Law enforcement officials tell TMZ the search warrant was conducted as part of an ongoing investigation into the Dogg's arrest earlier this month at the Burbank Airport, after he allegedly tried carrying a gun in a carry-on bag onto a plane.

When he was arrested, Morgan told police he had been to a club and 'had some beers,' Assistant District Attorney John Kennedy said in court.
The illustrator of X-Men comics died Sunday curled up in his favorite chair, wearing his Superman pajamas.
Dave Cockrum, who drew many of the X-Men characters, was 65. He died after a long battle with diabetes. At his request, there will be no public service and his body will be cremated with his ashes spread over his property.
But just because there might not be a service, that will not stop people from saying nice things about the man who deeply loved his job.
Family friend Clifford Meth said Cockrum loved his job so much that he cried when he first saw the first X-Men film. He did not receive movie royalties but he was so happy to see his characters come to life.
"He cried because his characters were on screen and they were living," he said. "He had a genuine love for comics and for science fiction and for fantasy, and he lived in it. He loved his work."
Cockrum started out at DC Comics and then moved to Marvel in the 1970s. He was able to refurbish the X-Men comic after other artists failed to grip readers with stories of a group of mutants.
Cockrum designed and co-created X-Men heroes like Storm, Mystique, Nightcrawler and Colossus.

Interestingly, Pam and Kid Rock gave different dates of separation. She says they split on November 21. He says November 26.
We've learned there was not a prenup, however, the two were married for such a brief period of time it will probably have little impact.Pam's website offers a short statement confirming the divorce, saying "Yes, it's true. Unfortunately impossible."

Tawny Kitaen has been charged with possessing 15 grams of cocaine in California.
A statement by the Orange County district attorney's office said police found the cocaine on May 21 in the San Juan Capistrano apartment she shares with her two children.
