Odd story of the day...Denise Richards injures senior citizen after throwing laptops over balcony!

Actress Denise Richards accidentally injured a senior citizen on Wednesday after throwing two photographers' laptops off a hotel balcony in Canada.

Richards is currently filming "Blonde and Blonder" with Pamela Anderson in Vancouver, British Columbia, and was reportedly annoyed to find two unauthorized photographers on set at the River Rock Casino Resort.

Corporal Peter Thiessen, a media relations officer for the Richmond Royal Canadian Mounted Police, said Richards snatched the photographers' laptops off them and threw the equipment off the balcony, which "struck an 80-year-old woman in a wheelchair. It struck her in the arm."

However, the senior citizen "was not interested in pursuing criminal charges and suffered only minor injuries."

After police interviewed Richards and Anderson, the film's production company agreed to pay for the damage to the computers.

Howard Blank, from the movie's company, says, "No one was seriously injured in any way. (The incident is) getting blown way out of proportion.

"As a precaution first aid was called. An ambulance was called, which is also routine. No one was transferred to the hospital at all. Everything is fine."
